Royal Jordanian posts loss at USD 1.41mn in Q1


(MENAFN) Royal Jordanian (RJ) proclaimed that losses declined by USD 1.41mn to USD 10.26mn in Q1 of 2016 from USD 11.67mn in Q1 of 2015.

However, the fall in losses occurred in Q1 of 2016 incomes also went down 5 percent to USD 197.47mn from USD 208.72mn in Q1 of 2015.

The lower revenues were related to the reduced tickets prices resulting from lower oil prices.

RJ viewed active traffic in the second quarter and reaching the peak season in Q3, during the summer and holidays, which improved seat factor.
