Morocco Senegal Ink MoU on Public Sector Modernization
(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Morocco and Senegal signed on Wednesday in Rabat a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the modernization of the public sector and human resources’ development and management capacity building. Inked by minister delegate for civil service and administration modernization Mohamed Moubdi and Senegalese peer Viviane Laure Elisabeth Bampassy who is on a visit to the Kingdom the MoU touches on several fields of shared interest as simplifying administrative procedures modernizing e-administration and developing the human capital in addition to the provisional management of employment and skills and results-based management. It also touches on reforming the civil service statutes promoting social dialogue reinforcing good governance and ethics in the public sector and improving administrative decentralization and the quality of civil service. For a good implementation of this agreement the two sides appointed a steering committee to study and approve activities to be carried out under an annual action plan. With MAP
