(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman April 27 (Petra) -- The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (TRC) Wednesday signed a memo with its Omani counterpart to boost cooperation in the field of telecommunications and post sectors.
The memo was signed by TRC President Ghazi Jbour and Hamad bin Salim al-Rawahi CEO of the Omani Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.
Jbour said the agreement will open new avenues of cooperation in the telecommunication sector including spectrum management and improving mobile data services.
The Omani official expressed enthusiasm to benefit form Jordanian expertise in the regulatory issues especially comprehensive services and activities aimed at protecting consumers and encouraging technical innovations.
