Five players were selected from the Omanoil Beach Soccer Cup in Salalah recently for the preparatory camp for the Asian Beach Games.

The selection was carried out by national beach soccer coach Talib Hilal. Fauzan Basheer Zinad al Habsi Ghassan al Balushi Ibrahim al Yafaei Mohammed al Kathiri will join ten others who have been selected from previous two legs of the tournament at the Oman national beach soccer team's upcoming camp.

The Salalah leg was played under floodlights with teams playing both league and knockout rounds. The Al Nasr team took the trophy in a hard-fought contest. The concluding leg of the beach soccer tournament will be played in Muscat on May 14.
