Morocco Gabon Cote d Ivoire to Develop Strong Cooperation Model Morocco World News


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Morocco Cote d’Ivoire and Gabon are determined to develop a partnership model in various fields Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Aziz Akhannouch said Tuesday in Meknes.

“This cooperation will touch priority areas such as health security the transfer of agricultural skills and know-how investment in agriculture agricultural research soil fertility and agricultural training” Akhannouch told the press following his talks with Ivorian and Gabonese Agriculture Ministers Coulibaly Mamadou Sangafowa and Mathieu Mboumba Nziengui respectively.

In this respect Akhannouch recalled that Morocco’s cooperation with these two African countries in agriculture and fisheries has developed significantly in recent years.

“There are several cooperation agreements in this field between the two countries but given the role that Africa and African cooperation today shall play in the world it has become crucial to ensure the activation of this cooperation” the minister underlined on the sidelines of the inauguration of the 11th International Exhibition of Agriculture in Morocco (SIAM 2016).
