Egypt's Sinai Development invests USD 0.42bn in H1


(MENAFN) The government invested USD 0.42bn in the Sinai Peninsula through the first half of FY 2015/2016, while 32 percent of the projects have been totally applied.

Additionally, the Egyptian cabinet viewed the management of the Sinai Development Agency since it was established in 2012.

Egypt offered development projects in the Sinai Peninsula at a cost of USD 1.5bn to Arab development institutions last year.

Accordingly, the fund will finance projects worth at least USD 900mn over the next three years, which will arrive in Egypt among less than two years.
