Chinese EXIM bank, Iran join forces on vital projects


(MENAFN) The Export-Import Bank of China (EXIM) will deliver funds for the development of the Iranian petrochemical and telecommunication schemes.

In accordance, the conclusion for this move came from the Chinese bank latest agreement sealed with Iran's Bank Tejarat to cooperatively fund Iranian projects.

Offering financial guarantees for projects that are to be carried out by Iranian and foreign top firms has also been envisaged in the contract between the two banks.

Furthermore, EXIM bank in January inked a treaty with Iran's Ministry of Road and Urban Development to fund the construction of a high-speed train's service.
