(MENAFN- Daily News Egypt) Heliopolis Sporting Club (HSC) held a conference Sunday to announce the 13th edition of the Water-polo Championship for the Arab Clubs Champions, to be held at the club from 26 to 30 April.
HSC and Gezira Sporting Club (GSC) will be the only Egyptian teams participating in the championship, alongside the Moroccan Wydad Al-Ouma club, the Algerian Entente Sportive de Sétif (ESS) club, and the Saudi Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Ahli Saudi clubs.
The first group of the five-day championship will include HSC, Al-Ahli Saudi, Al-Ahli Saudi, and ESS. The second group will include Al-Qadisiyah, GSC, and Wydad Al-Ouma.
Amr Hamada, a board member in HSC and a member in the organising committee for the championship, told Daily News Egypt that all the countries that were invited to attend the champion accepted their invitation.
"Through these kinds of championships, including the ongoing El Gouna Squash International Open Championship, we are proving to the world that Egypt is capable of organising and hosting prestigious championships," he added.
