Embassy in Cairo honours outgoing UAE Ambassador

CAIRO 24th April 2016 (WAM) -- The UAE Embassy in Cairo has hosted a farewell reception for Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League on the occasion of the end of his tenure.

The event was attended by embassy diplomats staff members and the media.

In a speech during the reception Mohammed Al Dhaheri expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to embassy staff for this generous gesture and thanked them for their support during his six year tenure.

Al Dhaheri also expressed his thanks and appreciation to Egypt saying it was an honour to work there as an ambassador for his country and praised Egypt's achievements under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi who secured its stability accelerating its development and construction at an unprecedented rate in the country's history of economic development.

The ambassador went on to praise the distinguished relations that the UAE and Egypt share which were established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and now continue under the UAE's wise leadership.
