KFH discusses opportunities for cooperation with IDF prez


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Chief Strategy Officer at Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Eng Fahad Khaled Al-Mukhaizeem discussed opportunities for cooperation with Dr Shaukat M. Sadikot, the president of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). Increasing the awareness of diabetes and the importance of concerted efforts to fight against this disease and preventing its danger was a main topic of conversation between the two sides.

A strategic cooperation agreement was inked between both sides as part of KFH's social responsibility and keenness to support official bodies, and medical institutions and centers.

KFH spares no efforts in organizing and supporting the events that make diabetes prevention a priority. KFH was the first bank to sign an international agreement with International Diabetes Federation IDF that has over 200 associations working under its umbrella in the diabetes field in over 160 countries.

In addition, during the last two years, KFH had sent a number of specialists to international diabetes institutions, including a center that is affiliated with Harvard University, in order to shed light on the latest efforts and researches in the field of diabetes, not to mention the means of limiting the spread of the disease, and the means to overcome it.
