Yemeni Peace Talks Constructive Positive -UN Envoy Says

Kuwait Rajab 15 1437 April 22 2016 SPA -- UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for Yemen Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmad called on Friday the UN-brokered peace consultations between the Yemeni government and the rebels in Kuwaiti as "constructive and positive."
"Among important things that we discussed is parties adherence with the ceasefire ... but I can say that the atmosphere was very positive" Ould Cheikh Ahmed said during a press conference on the second day of the talks between Yemeni disputed parties.
"We are closer to peace now more than any other time" the UN Envoy told reporters.
