Oman- Exhibition at Al Bustan features national and international artists

The Art Boutique at Al Bustan Palace a Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Tuesday opened an exhibition of works by a number of artists.

On display are paintings drawings sculptures mosaics ceramics and fine art prints done by Omani and international artists like Farah Asqul Suad al Aufi Adnan al Raisi Alia Farsi Liubov Nikitina-Silva Radhika Hamlai and Anna Dudchenko.

Speaking at the event Nabil al Zadjali hotel manager at Al Bustan Palace a Ritz-Carlton Hotel said 'The Art Boutique is a splendid platform to present Omani artists to our guests and visitors. As part of our 'Proudly Omani' philosophy we are proud to feature several Omani talents from the local art scene in an elegant setting in our Shopping Gallery located on Level 1 of Al Bustan Palace a Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

The Art Boutique is already getting a lot of attention from both global travellers and Omanis.' Anna Dudchenko artist and curator of the Al Bustan Palace Art Boutique collection said 'The idea behind the art boutique was to create an inviting cosy unpretentious art space which offers an eclectic mix of fine art by local artists and artisans. Here guests can come and relax with a cup of coffee look at the art pieces flip through the catalogues and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of contemporary Omani art and culture.'

She added 'Also we wanted to expose emerging and established Omani artists to the international audience and Al Bustan Palace Art Boutique gives them this opportunity considering that guests of the hotel come from all over the world.' The exhibition being held at the Al Bustan Palace Shopping Gallery on the first floor is open to public.
