S. Korea's manufacturers project waning growth in May

(MENAFN) Whereas their real business environments in February turned out to be worse than expected, South Korean manufacturers' business sentiments continued to remain underwhelming for May.

The Bank of Korea's data showed that the country's exports declined every single month last year, plus more industrialists' project conditions for their exports to continue deteriorating over the coming month.

Additionally, manufacturers basically saw reducing local consumption as the top problem facing them with 24pct of those surveyed saying the fall in the local market delivered them with the highest challenge in April.

Furthermore, an extra 10.1 percent mentioned decelerating exports as a chief problem that encountered them this month, increasing from 9.5 percent over the previous month, according to the latest reports.
