(MENAFNEditorial) Overcup Press to host book launch of Matt Wagners "The Tall Trees of Paris" the third release in his Tall Trees series.
Portland Ore.Overcup Press is excited to present Matt Wagners "The Tall Trees of Paris" the third release in Wagners Tall Trees series. Following the success of "The Tall Trees of Tokyo" and "The Tall Trees of Portland" "The Tall Trees of Paris" showcases the work of 42 contemporary artists living and working in Paris France. Their work is shown alongside handwritten questionnaires detailing each of the artists favorite things about their neighborhood painting an artistic panorama of the City of Light. Featured artists include 2Shy Alxone Blek Le Rat and Christelle Enault.
The book launch will be held on April 30 2016 at the Gigantic Brewing Company Taproom and Champagne Lounge in Southeast Portland (5224 SE 26th Ave) from 5:00-9:00pm for art lovers 21 years and older. Guests will enjoy complimentary French-influenced snacks and will be able to purchase champagne. The event will include a book signing by the author and a celebration of all things franaise.
Author Matt Wagner is the art director owner and curator of Portland Oregons Hellion Gallery in Old Town. Wagner has a personal connection to the Paris: learning about the citys rich art history sparked his passion for art early on. Wagner lives and works in Portland Oregon and curates art exhibitions in Tokyo San Diego Portland and Paris.
