Kuwait Disabled Club chief wins GCC award

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT April 20 (KUNA) -- Chairman of Kuwait Disabled Sports Club (KDSC) Shafi Al-Hajri has won the GCC Sports Social Responsibility Award.
The club said in a statement on Wednesday that it had received a message from the GCC "regional social responsibility network" notifying that Al-Hajri had earned the prize in appreciation for his notable contributions to service of the paralymic sports in the Gulf.
Al-Hajri who has received an invitation to receive it in Bahrain on June 1st has praised the top political leadership for patronizing handicapped athletes. (end) fsa.rk
