GCC Supreme Council's Consultative Authority discusses host of environmental issues


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MUSCAT April 20 (KUNA) -- The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Supreme Council's Consultative Authority has discussed in its 19th meeting a number of issues topped by the endorsement of the minute of its first session of the current round.

The current session presided by Hamad Saud Al-Sayyari also looked into ways of preparing a full-fledged strategy for environmental cooperation among the GCC states as well as strengthening the role of the GCC private sector in investing in animal and agricultural projects.

It also touched on the issue of increasing productivity of the GCC nationals.

Oman is home of the Consultative Authority of the GCC Supreme Council. (end).
