UAE- Get yourself amused at Deal Show 2016


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Dubai Entertainment Amusement and Leisure Show (Deal) 2016 the Mena's largest and most accomplished trade show in the entertainment amusement and retail sector opened on Tuesday with 300 exhibitors from over 33 countries set to attract thousands of visitors until tomorrow.

The event was inaugurated by Butti Saeed Al Ghandi second vice-chairman of the Dubai World Trade Centre. Top management from International Expo Consults (IEC) and industry officials were also present in the inauguration.

Last year's Deal Show signed over Dh1.2 billion worth of contracts and with the amusement industry's growth and the upsurge in demand for services and equipment in this sector 2016 is a promising year for the Deal Show.

With a giant floor space for exhibitors seminars and a new expanded section Deal Show 2016 caters to the exhibitors and visitors from the Mena and other parts of the globe.

"By 2020 theme parks and amusement attractions in the UAE are set to rake in billions of dollars in revenues with the rise of the region's tourism sector and Dubai becoming a world-class family tourism destination. Entertainment zones today have become an integral part of the tourism and retail industry sectors" said Abdul Rahman Falaknaz chairman of IEC.

Deal Show 2016 also welcomed new features including Blooloop's Deal Live one of the biggest conferences for the industry.

A new section was also introduced: the Amusement and Franchise Showcase where stakeholders and businessmen can replicate ideas using the franchise business model.

Deal 2016 features exhibitors from various parts of the world including Belgium Canada China Hong Kong Germany Netherlands Italy the UK France Turkey and the US among others.
