Oil Supermajors rush to exploit Iran's Persian Gulf


(MENAFN) Following the historic sanctions' relief for oil/gas rich Iran, it strongly projects that drilling and overhaul of its oil wells will increase in Persian Gulf oilfields, based on recent data.

According to the Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC), a two-year comprehensive scheme has been fully positioned on the agenda for drilling and maintenance of oil wells in the area.

Basically, the main goal includes raising production capacity, retaining the current yield level in some oilfields plus applying resistant economy especially in the field of managing financial resources.

The Persian Gulf oil has many global customers, hence during the sanction years; the area saw the least amount of obligatory drop, keeping the ultimate goal of growing production in focus.
