Abu Dhabi pipe factory to export 40 percent of output
(MENAFN) Khalifa Industrial Zone broke ground a USD 0.29bn joint venture manufacturing factory, which called "Al Gharbia Pipe Co."
Moreover, Al Gharbia will be the UAE's first plant capable of manufacturing large diameter, thick wall and sour services.
In addition, the plant will be built on 200,000 square meters and is predicted to set up operations by 2018.
Al Gharbia is the first industrial venture between the UAE and Japan in the UAE, and has been helped by the Abu Dhabi- Japan Business Promotion.
