French investment to grow in Egypt by 10 percent


(MENAFN) Egypt, France expected that French investments in Cairo will increase by 10 percent in 2017, following an exchange of visits by the Egyptian and French presidents.

Furthermore, French firms plan to invest in metro projects, transportation, renewable energy, water and sanitation and military contracts.

Additionally, France invested almost USD 0.35bn in Egypt in 2014, which is the sixth largest investor in Egypt, after KSA, Britain, the US and other countries.

Egyptian firms will export textiles and garments to France in order to boost domestic production, to facilitate the great trade volume.
