Mongolia joins top Iranian oil importers

(MENAFN) Iran and Mongolia have picked up talks from where they left it on Iranian crude oil sales to the East Asian nation through China, based on recent reports.

Mongolia has marked a newly-emerged market for the sale and export of the Islamic Republic's oil, especially that the latter places no limitation on oil sales to Mongolia.

However, since Mongolia is a landlocked sovereign state in East Asia, it is therefore not possible to use marine courses for crude oil transportation to that country.

China is one potential route for exporting Iranian crude to Mongolia, thus negotiations are being held with Mongolian officials to finalize the oil export route via China.
