Decomposed body found in flat in Fujairah

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Decomposed body of an Asian man has been found hanging from the ceiling of his flat in the Fujairah city. The body has been transferred to the forensic lab in the Fujairah Public Hospital for autopsy to find out the cause which led to his death.

Security sources said the operations room was notified that a foul smell emanated from a residential apartment in a multi-story building on Shaikh Hamad bin Abdullah Street.

Criminal Investigations Department officers accompanied by an ambulance rushed to the place and when they opened the door of the flat they found the body. The Public Prosecution was informed and the detectives examined the body and ordered be taken to the hospital for autopsy. Sources said the deceased had been sacked by his employer almost a week ago and those close to him told investigators that he had been suffering from depression and stress since then.
