China's economy drops to 6.7 percent

(MENAFN) China's economic growth declined in Q1 to reach 6.7 percent, largely in line with predictions, while it's slowest pace since the global financial crisis.

Accordingly, the annualized increase rate for the world's second-largest economy reached lower from the last quarter's 6.8 percent.

Furthermore, the country's economic situation is based on export manufacturing and investment toward one focused on more sustainable services.

However, fixed asset investment spread 10.7 percent in the Jan-March period, whereas industrial output grew 5.8 percent.
