Exit Planning Exchange (XPX) 2016 Summit announces speakers and panelists

The Exit Planning Exchange (XPX) Boston is proud to announce the full roster of speakers panelists and moderators appearing at its annual Summit onThursday April 28that The Conference Center at Waltham Woods 860 Winter Street Waltham.

 

“From the Outside In – The Buyer’s Perspective on Business Value” is the theme of the 2016Summit.Well known owners and advisors will share their practical knowledge and experience on creating sustainable transferable value in a business.  The Summit will run from 7:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will include a continental breakfast as well as lunch.  A cocktail and networking hour will immediately follow the day-long program.  .

 

The agenda for the summit includes speakers and breakout sessions that will address areas where business owners can make changes that help their businesses grow today and increase their value in the future.  More than a dozen vibrant speakers and panelists will present information to enlighten attendees regarding the requirements for successful business transition.

 

Scheduled to deliver keynote presentations are: Christopher Oddleifson CEO of Rockland Trust; Caleb White Partner of The Newport Board Group and former CEO of Ensign-Bickford Industries Inc.; Dr. Daniel Korschun co-author of “We Are Market Basket”; Daniel O’Brienpartner and president of O’Brien Riley & Ryan P.C. and Joel Acevedo a recognized expert on culture and leadership development.

 

Bob Delhome Founder and President of Charter Contracting Company LLC; Tom O’Reilly who teaches a course in Entrepreneurial Leadership at Tufts University; and Jeffrey Ross with Glenroe Associates LLC will lead the breakout session “Are You Getting in Your Own Way? How to Increase Your Business’ Value by Reducing its Reliance on You the Owner.”  Craig James Chair of Vistage Worldwide will serve as Moderator.

 

John Brown President of Business Enterprise Institute and author of several books about exit planning will present “Leaving My Business – On My Timetable To My Ideal Successor and At My Price.”

 

A discussion on “When You Get to a Fork in the Road Take It!” will be led by Jim Bourdon CEO of Accounting Management Solutions; Emily Green the former CEO of Smart Lunches Inc.; Gary Harnum  Founder and former CFO and CAO of i-parcel LLC; and Hilary Potts CEO of The HAP Group.  Serving as moderator will be Rudi Scheiber-Kurtz CEO of Next Stage Solutions Inc.

 

“With Unlimited Vacation Time and Allowing Dogs in the Workplace Increase the Value of Your Business?” will be addressed by panelists Kristine Steinberg Founder of Kismet Consulting; John Vetere Principal of John M. Vetere Associates; and Dave Will Founder and former CEO of Peach New Media.  The discussion will be moderated by Paul Cronin COO of Successful Transition Planning Institute.

 

Brianna Clifford Director of Operations and Business Development at Pinnacle Equity Solutions; Jared Johnson Director of Business Development at BEI; and Ken Sanginario with Alliance of M&A Advisors will address the topic “Is Certification Good For You?” moderated by Mary Adams Founder of Smarter-Companies Inc.
