Germany, Iran investigate means to boost shipping ties

(MENAFN) Iran and Germany have agreed to enhance and develop cooperation in the transportation sector, indicating that their mutual interests go beyond oil/gas industry.

In accordance, both sides extensively discussed very important railway, aviation and roads projects, and they also had very good discussions on expanding Iranian ports.

Germany has reentered Iran's vital market as soon as the sanctions were lifted, and last month, they opened a joint credit line to facilitate trade and economic exchange.

After removing sanctions under the nuclear deal between Tehran and the world powers, grounds are being paved for the resumption of all-out ties with the European Union.
