13 Apr 2016 - A new contemporary romance is hitting bookshelves this spring by local author D. Alyce Domain. "When Lucifer Met Calamity" is set to land on eBookshelves on April 18 2016 and at local bookstore The Book Scene in early May 2016. To promote the release of her second novel Ms. Domain is hosting a Book Launch & Signing Event on May 14 2016 at The Book Scene Bookstore. Ms. Domain a former oncology research professional first entered the book scene in November of 2015 with her debut novel "Dominic's Nemesis". The darker-themed paranormal romance is currently available online and in-store at The Book Scene in The Heights Houston. Ms. Domain also owns and operates her own ladies fashion boutique The Aesthetic Domain and maintains a companion Boutique & Blog website. In addition she is the founder and sole administrator of her own book blog entitled A Writer's Journal .

Set in her hometown of Houston Texas "When Lucifer Met Calamity" is a light-hearted opposites attract romance. Calamity Jones a loopy legal assistant tired of her boss's unwanted advances decides to flip the script and give him a taste of his own medicine. In the process she runs afoul of straight-arrow lawyer Lucifer Phoenix. Turns out they both have a bone to pick with her boss. When he suggests they team up she decides to take a chance on love laughter and Lucifer. The Hitch? Calamity's got her own set of rules and while she's willing to give the sexy lawyer a shot a girl's got to have a back-up plan in case things go sideways. Right?
