Kuwait snatches clear pictures of Saturn


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT April 13 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Scientific Center (KSC) has succeeded in taking crystal-clear photos of the planet Saturn.

Bader Al-Emairah in charge of the space sciences department at the center said in a statement on Wednesday that Saturn is one of the most beautiful planets distinguished with surrounding circles formed from rocks of various sizes.

Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second-largest in the Solar System after Jupiter. It is a gas giant with an average radius about nine times that of Earth. (end) zak.rk
