KSA leads USD 900bn MENA energy investments


(MENAFN) Whole energy investments in the MENA region, involving Iran, will reach USD 900bn in the coming five years, despite uncertainties in the area's investment outlook.

Moreover, the region estimates a 19 percent grow in whole MENA energy investment activity, introducing increase of USD 145bn to USD 900bn.

Accordingly, USD 289bn of investment has been committed to projects under execution in the region, whereas an extra USD 611bn value of development is planned.

The investment will be led by Saudi Arabia, along with the UAE and Kuwait, which will seek to invest across the energy value chain.
