Qatar- Serviceman Killed in PKK Attack in Southeast Turkey


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ankara April 12 (QNA) - Turkish army said that PKK organization carried out a bomb attack in southeastern Turkey targeting security forces leaving one soldier killed and dozens of others including civilians injured.
According to a Turkish General Staff statement the incident happened at a gendarmerie command in the Hani district of the Diyarbakir province.
In a related context thirty PKK militants were killed in counter-terrorism operations against the PKK in Turkey's southeastern provinces of Mardin Sirnak and Hakkari on Monday the Turkish army said.
The operation in Nusaybin started on March 14. (QNA)
