Qatar Travel win bowling tourney

Doha: Turkish Airlines Europe’s best awarded airline for fifth year in a row hosted the 2016 Turkish Airlines Bowling Tournament and provided the top three medallist winners a chance to qualify to this upcoming edition of the International Turkish Airlines Bowling Tournament which will include players from 35 different countries.

Doha welcomed various travel agencies consisting of 96 participants.

The team of Qatar Travel comprising Mohammed Ajaz Mohammed Ifran and Syed won the tournament and was crowned champion.

Darwish Travel comprising Adeel Awas and Hassan claimed second spot followed by Mannai Travel’s trio of Amaranath Razeel and Sameera who claimed third position.

Mehmed Kursad Caymaz General Manager for Turkish Airlines Qatar said: “This annual bowling tournament is always the perfect chance for us to connect with all our travel agencies and bring in a feeling of friendship while they are competing with each other.”

“We are delighted that this year’s tournament received an encouraging feedback from all our participants. We would like to congratulate the winners and wish them the best of luck in the upcoming International Turkish Airlines bowling tournament” he added.
