(MENAFNEditorial) It was D-day for the students of the Class of 2015 of the Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Photography (BVSP) as they received their Diplomas & Pearson HND level 5 certifications at a glittering event held at Rajiv Gandhi Auditorium Bharati Vidyapeeth''s Dhankawadi campus. Doing the honors were Padmashree Award winning Filmmaker Shri. Govind Nihlani Dr. Vishwajeet Kadam Secretary Bharati Vidyapeeth University and Rajan Chaughule Director BVSP in presence of Honble Dr. Bhoite former Vice Chancellor Bharati Vidyapeeth University Pune and Dr. S. F. Patil former Vice Chancellor Bharati Vidyapeeth University Pune . The event was well attended by the students parents and faculty members of the institute. The event began with the dignitaries being warmly welcomed by the faculty. They were given a brief tour of the studios equipment digital labs and other state-of-the-art facilities at the school.

Govind Nihlani engaged the students with his experiences in cinematography and photography. He said Our life is dominated by the image through its omnipresence. Today the image is considered as one of the most important aspects of communication as it transmits ideas motivation or a message. He congratulated the students and extended his warm wishes for their career while reminding the students that the most important factor of communication through an image is coveying emotion.

Dr. Vishwajeet Kadam inspired the students with his words as he gave a glimpse of the humble beginnings of Bharati Vidyapeeth as a standalone school in 1965 to its inception as a recognized university in 1996. Appreciating the hard work and the dedication of the faculty of the school he said Photography has a very emotional connect with people. it is a passion that strikes a chord with every individual and the idea to start this institute was to give a direction to this passion. Today we are proud to be a part of the league of esteemed photography schools by contributing good photographers to the industry and country at large. He further added that Bharati Vidyapeeth University is a proud recipient of A grade by the NAAC committee and is instrumental in providing quality education to schools in 85 villages across Maharashtra with state-of-the-art facilities.

Rajan Chaughule while addressing the students and the dignitaries introduced BVSP and its current academic programs such as 2 year full-time diploma course Photography and the newly introduced curriculum that provides a unique 3 year full-time diploma on Photography & Cinematography along with an independent 2 years full-time diploma in Cinematography. He mentioned with pride that BVSP currently holds the top position amongst photography institutes in India. While congratulating the graduating students he said Passion commitment and ethics will take you places in the industry and we would be delighted to see our students become as accomplished as Mr. Nihlani.

This was followed by the distribution ceremony of certificates where all the students were felicitated for their successful completion of their photography course. BVSP is a part of Bharati Vidyapeeth. Since its inception in 2011 the BVSP has introduced courses to successfully set new standards in Photography education along with a specialized program on Cinematography. All courses in this institute are industry relevant and recognized in India. BVSP currently ranks No. 1 amongst photography schools in India with the dedicated team efforts contributed by its core team members including Rajan Choughule Bharat Birangi (Head of academics) and Rajashree Rajashekhar (Expansion & strategy).
