At the top of the files to be discussed in Istanbul summit will be the Palestinian issue with emphasizing the OIC role and position to support Palestine at all levels and the international efforts to relaunch a collective political process according to a specific timetable to end the Israeli occupation.
The summit will discuss with regard to the Palestinian issue the support of movement to hold an international peace conference to end the Israeli occupation and support the Ministerial Contact Group Team on the holy Al-Quds and the adoption of the Strategic Plan for its Development.
Istanbul summit will also discuss the conditions of local Muslim communities in the non-Member States and the fight against terrorism violent extremism and Islamophobia in addition to other issues such as sustainable development in the OIC Member States and the promotion of scientific cooperation in health higher education and environment fields among the member countries and to promote cultural social and media cooperation in addition to humanitarian situation eradication of poverty and development of infrastructure in the Organization's Member States.
