Riyadh Rajab 5 1437 Apr 12 2016 SPA -- Turkish city of Istanbul is set to host on April 10 -15 2016 the 13th Islamic Summit which will be held under the title "Unity and Solidarity for Justice and Peace".
The Islamic Organization of Cooperation (OIC) explained that Istanbul Islamic Summit will discuss several practical decisions and initiatives seeking to promote joint Islamic action and upgrading assigned OIC role on regional and international arenas including the adoption of the new ten-year plan 2015-2025 which is a strategic vision with specific priorities in the areas of peace and security the fight against terrorism and extremism the humanitarian aspects human rights support the development poverty alleviation eradication of infectious diseases and the rights of women youth children and family in Muslim world as well as higher education science and technology and cultural exchanges between the Organization member states.
