Kuwaiti oil barrel up to USD35.02


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT April 12 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil barrel rose USD 1.02 reaching USD 35.02 on Monday compared to USD 34.00 per barrel last Friday said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Tuesday.

Meanwhile oil prices went up in international markets buoyed by basic commodities markets and expectations of a drop in US shale oil production for the seventh consecutive month.

Brent crude oil rose 89 cents reaching USD 42.93 upon settlement yesterday while the US crude oil barrel went up by 64 cents to reach USD 40.36.(end) osj.ag
