Qatar- Speaker of Advisory Council Returns Home

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha April 11 (QNA) - HE Speaker of the Advisory Council Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi and his accompanying delegation returned on Monday to Doha from Egypt after participating in the 23rd meetings of the heads of Arab Parliamentary Union (APU) which kicked off in Cairo yesterday and concluded today.
The conference discussed an number of topics including reports by its president and general secretary as well as previous sessions' reports and the parliamentary role in addressing risks and current challenges facing the region among others.
The delegation was greeted upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by a number of Advisory Council officials. (QNA)
