PKK attacks school in eastern Turkey


(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) >Supporters of PKK terrorist organization attacked a school in an eastern Turkish province and hurled an improvised explosive inside the building according to police.

The incident came at a secondary school in the Ipekyolu district of the Van province late on Sunday.

The terrorist supporters broke the windows and doors of the school and threw a cluster bomb.

An investigation was underway to find the assailants.

Earlier on Sunday in Van’s Edremit district PKK supporters hurled a petrol bomb at a primary school and damaged security cameras broke first-floor windows and threw Molotov cocktails inside.

PKK – listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey the U.S. and EU – resumed its 30-year armed campaign against Turkey last July.

Since then more than 350 Turkish security personnel have been martyred and thousands of terrorists killed.
