AIPU adopts Kuwaiti Speaker's call to expel Knesset from IPU

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO April 11 (KUNA) -- Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) officially adopted a call to make a unanimous Arab parliamentary move to expel the Knesset the Israeli parliament from the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
The call was made by former AIPU president and National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim at the conclusion of AIPU's 23th conference.
The call was officially adopted in AIPU's final communique. It also approved forming a parliamentary committee chaired by Al-Ghanim to support the Palestinian people. (end) ms.nfm
