(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman April 11 (Petra) -- The Government Coordinator for Human Rights Basel Tarawneh Monday met Executive Director of Equitas Ian Hamilton and discussed with him important concepts of human rights in the educational system for youth and student sector.
Tarawneh spoke about the Comprehensive National Plan on Human Rights which was recently launched under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II in addition to the features of the executive plan and priorities towards the youth and student sector.
He also reviewed a set of actions undertaken to develop human rights status.
Hamilton commended Jordanian efforts to promote the role of youth students and children in the developmental process.
He also praised the launch of the national human right plan within specific timeline and standards.
