Slovenia, Iran team up to establish vital projects
(MENAFN) Slovenia has proposed to finance power vital projects in Iran, as it seeks to strengthen the mutual trade ties, especially with the presence of Slovenian trade firms in the Islamic republic.
Slovenia acknowledges the fact that power generation capacity in Iran has hit more than 74,000 MW and with the implementation of a 10-year plan, 50,000 MW will be added providing grounds for trade in the power segment.
Moreover, Slovenia has a developed economy and is per capita the second richest of the Slavic countries after Czech Republic, and it was in the beginning of 2007 the first new member to introduce the euro as its currency.
Additionally, almost two-thirds of people are employed in services, and over one-third in industry and construction, plus the nation benefits from a well-educated workforce and a well-developed infrastructure.
