(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - UK) NextEra Energy Inc (NYSE:NEE) has told investors that one of its subsidiaries has completed the sale of stakes in two gas powered plant.
It sees NextEra receive US$456mln of net proceeds for an aggregate deal value of US$1.55bn.
The assets the Forney and Lamar plants are both located in Texas and together represent some 3000 megawatts of capacity.
The buyer was an affiliate of NextEra which will continue to operate both of the facilities for an initial period of up to one year.
