Qatar- Tunisian dance troupe attracts crowds at Katara


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) As part of the cultural diversity festivities jointly organised with Unesco Doha Office the Cultural Village Foundation – Katara hosted a dazzling performance by Yasmine Dance Group from Tunisia over two days.
The performances that concluded yesterday attracted a significant turnout of visitors.
The first act entitled ‘The Safari’ depicted the Tunisian women’s path and evolution and continued with performances that stressed the importance of leading a modern life and preserving the traditions of ancestors.
Yasmine Dance Group led by Saloua Kamoun founder and the choreographer is an academy that teaches dance to all ages.
Established in 1985 the group has participated in diverse events in Germany France Turkey South Korea Serbia Italy Oman and Russia where their shows have been met with great admiration.
