Turkey, Iran study means to deepen joint trade

(MENAFN) Iran and Turkey are closely discussing the possibility of conducting bilateral trade using rial and Turkish lira, according to the latest reports.

The two nations have always had friendly relations and kept trade and economic ties in various periods, and this move would only make the ties stronger.

Many officials hope that the coming Iran-Turkey Joint Commission meeting in mid-April will raise the requests of both sides to come to a final decision.

Launching direct air flights between Iran and Turkish cities such as Van, Izmir and Ankara marks another step towards facilitating trade between the two countries.
