Iran's gas industry steals spotlight from oil


(MENAFN) Iran projects its rich gas industry is set to attract over USD40 billion worth of foreign investments after lifting the imposed sanctions which is getting closer.

The country is well prepared to increase the daily gas exports from the current 80 million cubic meters (mcm) to a whopping 300 mcm, presenting a significant impact.

Moreover, Iran already has a wide range of advantages like possessing huge infra-structures to export gas to multiple destinations, and offering the lowest investment costs.

The intimating Asian nation also prides itself for having the world's largest gas production capacity, not to mention its willingness to provide the shortest route to gas markets.
