Qatar's 2016 budget views the "first shortage"
(MENAFN) Qatar's budget for this year foresees the "first deficit", coming in at 4.8 percent of GDP based on oil prices of USD 48 for a barrel.
Furthermore, the budgeted payments total USD 55.57bn, which introduces a 7.3 percent cut from the last full-year budget.
However, the decline in projected incomes to USD 42.81bn from USD 61.94bn is due to a reduction in the oil price assumption from USD 65 per barrel.
The budget main goal during the budget preparation was to confirm the completion and application of major projects in key sectors.
