Israeli troops demolish 3 houses in West Bank's 'Kabatiya' town


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH April 4 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation troops destroyed ealry Monday three houses in the West Bank's town of Kabatiya belonging to Palestinian Martyrs accused of killing an Israeli border police officer near Jerusalem's Damascus Gate.

Israeli troops stormed Kabatiya early Monday backed by a number of hydraulic equipment and demolished houses of the families of martys Ahmad Abou Al-Rab Ahmad Zekarna and Mohammad Kamil Coordinator of the National factions Ali Zekarna said.

Earlier in Februray Israeli Security forces enforced a closure on Kabatiya and arrested at least 10 people and several were wounded as clashes broke out with local population.

Ali Zekarna who is also a member of Kabatiya's city council told KUNA that calshes also broke out during the demolition proccess leaving three young men wounded by live ammunition in addition to scores others who suffered from suffocation.(end).
