EU to fund Egypt's Agadir Agreement's tech unit at USD 4.5mn


(MENAFN) Countries in the Committee of Foreign Trade Ministers of Agadir are in discussions with European Union (EU) to fund the 4th phase of the tech unit of the Agadir Deal Programs.

Accordingly, the trade exchange between Agadir Agreement member states did not surpass USD 500mn and it aimed to grow in the coming years.

Furthermore, the committee proclaimed that Lebanon and Palestine would join the agreement, which involves Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Jordan.

In addition, the unit seeks to offer advice and technical support and carry out substantive studies for all matters linked to the agreement.
