UAE to chair meeting on child abuse

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The UAE will chair a meeting on child sex abuse in the Colombian city of Cartagena from April 4-7.

This marks the first meeting of the Virtual Global Taskforce (VGT)'s Board of Management since the UAE assumed the presidency of the VGT Secretariat through to 2018.

Major-General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi Secretary- General of the Office of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and the Chair of the VGT explained that the meeting will discuss topics related to the mechanisms of enhancing child protection efforts cooperating in the fight against online child sexual abuse crimes and discuss the added value members can bring in this regard.
