Didi Kuaidi seeks to be number one
(MENAFN) Didi Kuaidi, China's biggest mobile-based ride-on-demand service provider plans to develop and enhance its private-car hailing services to more than 400 cities in the next three months.
The private-car hailing service is already available in 259 Chinese cities, and profitable in 100 of those, and its goal is to ultimately offer services to 30 million people daily and have 10 million vehicles registered.
Additionally, Didi Kuaidi claims to have a 90 percent share of Beijing's private-car hailing market, processing more than 1 million daily requests from passengers, which is eight times more than the number processed by its rival, Uber.
As for Uber, the United States-based firm and Didi Kuaidi's biggest competitor, it currently operates in 21 cities in China and it stated that it will target cities with more than 2 million people in the following year.
