Brussels airport to reopen partially Sun.


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BRUSSELS April 2 (KUNA) -- Brussels Airport will partially resume passenger flights from Sunday airport authorities announced Saturday.

According to media reports at a first stage all passengers will have to come to the airport by car or by taxi and are advised to arrive at least two hours before departure.

After the airport has reopened it will work at 20 percent of its normal capacity an estimated 800 passengers per hour.

Belgium's national carrier Brussels Airlines will be the first to resume their flights. Three flights have been scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

Media reports noted that it could take up to 3 months to get Brussels Airport fully operational back to its full capacity. (end) nk.ibi
