Kuwait's Amb. praises Bahrain's hosting of grand tournaments
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA April 2 (KUNA) -- Dean of Diplomatic Corps Kuwait's Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah said here on Saturday that the Bahrain Grand Prix Racing 'Formula 1' highlights the Kingdom's bright and civilized image.
The ambassador said in a statement during his attendance of the opening of the competition that the Kingdom's hosting of such successful race since 2004 until now proves its pioneering leadership and excellence in organizing such international forums and tournaments.
He said that the large media and economic coverage of such tournament has given an impression that Bahrain is a stable country in terms of economy and security thanks to its wise leadership.
The Formula 1 grand prize tourney kicked off here last night. The final and main race will be held tomorrow night.(end).
